Parmigiano Reggiano PDO or Parmesan cheese is a unique, all-natural product that is exclusive to its area of origin where for the past 900 years it is produced in the exact same manner with just three ingredients: milk, salt and rennet.
It is certified as protected designation of origin (PDO) and it is characterised by its pale yellow crust, dotted inscription and branded mark indicating an ageing of 12 months.
